All the things 10/18/2021

Wow its already Pday again?!

Today we decided to do a district Pday so we went to a museum & then out to eat. I have not had to eat seafood at dinner appointments or elsewhere so far and hope I can make it the whole 18 months without that changing hahaha
This week, where do I start? We made a goal as a zone to do street contacting for 2 hours each day from 10-12 and we have witnessed so many miracles because of it. We go to a town called Uxbridge every day to street contact. One day during street contacting, this man named Samuel approached us and said "The church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints!" And he was so excited, he had been taught in the past and bore a beautiful testimony about how he knew The Gospel is true! It was so heart warming. We are teaching him and he is planning to be baptized November 28th!!
We also have a friend names Connor who gets baptized on Sunday and Michael who will be getting baptized on November 6th!
I love missionary work! It's been so spiritually uplifting! Adjusting to the routine and work has been easy for me and I know its only because Heavenly Father is blessing me with the strength to do the work, his great work!
We had zone conference earlier this week and I just love my mission president and his wife. They really listen to the spirit and trust the Lord! We talked about how important the Restoration is, how we as missionaries have the honor and priveledge to continue restoring the Church right now as we serve in London! It was so powerful!
As I said adjusting to the mission life has been fine however, I do NOT like quiet. It is very odd to come home to a quiet house. I miss my family and my loud house a lot! But I feel everyones prayers and I am strengthened by them so thank you for them! <3 I feel like I am probably leaving a lot out but this week has been busy lol. I hope everyone is doing so well! Keep sending me emails, keep reading the Book of Mormon! Above all keep trusting God and Jesus Christ, They are your BEST ALLY! Growing up my mom always said this quote that I love "There's 2 ways to look at life, as if nothing is a miracle or as if everything is a miracle." Its so true! This week try to find the small miracles and appreciate them more because miracles ARE there!
I love you and miss you!!
Love always,
Sister Fox
