3/4/2022 Famous in China

First week in the new area felt like 5. Slow week, trying to get to know the area and know the missionaries in the zone but nonetheless it has been a good week. I am still really heart broken about being ripped away from Hayes midtransfer and honestly was being really bitter about it the first couple days but trials are for us to become better not bitter. 


My flat is SO boujee and i sleep on a queen size mattress so bless up. A big thank you to Jesus for that one. 🙏
I literally had never heard of any of the missionaries serving in this zone before so I am still getting to know them but they seem kind. (: 
My ward is freaking awesome. I went to institute on Wednesday and this little black spit fire named Joyce comes up to me and was like "i've never met a black sister before, i like you." And then yesterday at church a Sister named Elizabeth came uo to me and asked if I had served in any other area. And when I told her I was in Hayed before she just looked at me and then looked at the congregation and says "Welcome to the Jungle" 😅 I was so shocked but it lowkey made my day lol. So needless to say the Peckham ward is very diverse but mostly African, I'm so excited to get go know them all:)
We are also teaching a family. I haven't had the oppurtunity to teach a family before now but it's been so special and the spirit has been so strong! And to make things even better, the moms name is Ellie!❤ It's like a little piece of home 😊
I've been studying the Atonement of Jesus Christ. Which is His suffering in the Garden of Gethsemane, His crucification, AND His ressurection. Each time I study the Atonement it becomes so much more personal to me. I know that He is the only one who knows exactly how I feel right now and He is also the only one who can take all that pain and anger away. I'm grateful for Him and I know that because of him all unfairness will be made fair! ❤
President Thompson told me this would be hard, and he was not lying. But I have the oppurtunity to rely on Christ to make me strong and hardship doesn't last forever! 
We were walking home yesterday and this Asian man runs up to us and asked if he could interview us. I was down but i told him i would only help if he made sure my tag was in the shot lol. So it was just a bunch of random questions about how I identify and why I am in London so I took advantage of the oppurtunity and said "i identify as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints" and when he asked why I was in London I told him because of The Book of Mormon and then talked about that. 😎 
Not the answers he was looking for hahaha but turns out he is trying to make a TV show based in China so be on the look out for my big break, LOL🤣
I miss my old zone so much! I miss Sister Nichols and Black and Elder Cleary and Ojala. But God is so loving and mindful! And His plan is SO good! :') 
Wednesday is zone conference and I get to see ALL of my besties 😭 I literally can hardly wait! I'll see my old zone! AND Sister Jones and Sister Costa! What a tender mercy! 

I know that God knows what he is doing and I don't have to know, i just have to trust Him. I'm so grateful for the friendships I have made thus far and for you all at home. I miss you tons and pray for you often. Thank you for your prayers! 

DOCTRINE & COVENANTS 121:6-8
"6 Remember thy suffering saints, O our God; and thy servants will rejoice in thy name forever.
 7 My son, peace be unto thy soul; thine adversity and thine afflictions shall be but a small moment;
 8 And then, if thou endure it well, God shall exalt thee on high; thou shalt triumph over all thy foes"

I love these verses. I know that this transfer is just a small portion of my mission and the lessons I learn will help me grow closer to God! Whatever hardship you may be facing right now, know that it is a small moment. God has so much more in store for you and He loves you. And I do too! Have a fabulous week Utah💗

t's always the weeks where God is working so hard through me that satan attacks and my mental health is as gloomy as england lol. 1/10/2022 Jaw Dropping Miracles

I tried to make this shorter... I really tried. Hello to all my favorite people, I miss you! This week has literally been one of the best on the mission so far! I have no idea why God allows me to witness and be apart of this great work but wow! I am so thankful that I am able to be a missionary right now! This week every day something crazy happened that most people who aren't in the Gospel or who don't have a faith in God would have seen as coincidental but I can not deny the role God plays in each one of our lives! God is literally in control and He reminded me of that this week! Everything is in His hands! My mom wanted me to share one of the miracles that we saw this week :) like I said I tried to make this short but I really can't lol. 3/15/2023 Missionary Release
