7 months 4/12/22
Okay ima be honest... month 6 to month 7 has been the longest month of my mission life hahah. I've gitta be at least 9 months by now ;) Haha well, wow this week. Lots of busy missionary things. Interviews, finding, teaching, service, and baptisms :)
About 2 weeks ago we were walking down Walworth Rd and this man yelled "Sisters! Come here sisters!"
His name was Louis (he's this sweet old man from Scotland) and he was sitting next to his friend Anne. He had just been talking to her about coming to church and wanted us to give her a Book of Mormon. We had a good conversation with them both and then went on our way. A few days later we saw him again and he was helping a blind man across the street. He introduced us to him (Adam) and come to find out he was baptized about 2 years ago! So we have been calling him and did some service for him this week. It was really great!
Wednesday we had interviews and they were great as always, this one was probably the best interviews i've had. Although they we're super sad because Elder Reid went home, the spirit was so strong! I am a broken record at this point but i truly am so grateful for President and Sister Thompson. The news finally came out. Come this July and England will have and England Bristol mission. Super excited for the England Saints but super nervous because the ELM mission boundaries will change. So depending on how transfers go in July I could possibly serve in the England Birmingham or England Bristol mission. Which I really really really do not want to happen but I am working extra hard on trusting God in all things!
Saturday the Elders friend Patricia was baptized and she was confirmed and recieve the Holy Ghost yesterday! So happy for her!
Oh and an update, i mention Samantha a while back and was super sad when we stopped teaching her because we couldn't get ahold of her but she called us this week and told us she was diagnosed with cancer :( we've been praying for her daily and it's been really amazing to see her desire grow even stronger through her difficulties at this time.
Today I took Sister Deveraux to see Buckingham Palace for the first time :) Then we went out to Hyde Park Chapel to say hi to some missionaries! Lookibg forward to this week! We will be working with Bella and Fareeha to prepare them for their baptisms coming up!
I'm really looking forward to Easter this weekend! It's so crazy to reflect on this time last year. I remember so clearly being so sad that my mission call had not come yet, little did i know how fast everything would change! 7 freaking months, that's so crazy! I'm really happy and have seriously loved every moment, the good and the bad!
I love you all! 💗
Love always,
Sister Fox 🌻
