Another week in London 5/23/2022


Sometimes i just think to myself... i really live in freaking LONDON !! 

Man i love this place & love being a missionary so SO much! 🤍
It's been a happy week, Sister Deveraux and I have been working our butts off & we saw a ton of miracles!

So a lot has happened this week, we had mid transfer transfers and Elder Peedle joined our district this week. He is from Woverhampton (birmingham area) and is reassigned while waiting for his visa to Finland!

Interviews were on wednesday & they went well. I've had a desire to extend literally since the day i got my call and i talked to President Thompson about it and it's official! 🥳 i'll be coming home next April instead of next February! 💗 We also talked about transfers and about callings and i'm 99% sure i won't be leaving the ELM so i'm so so happy all around. London is definitely my mission 🤍

I was feeling extremely discouraged on Thursday. I felt like i wasn't dping enough or given enough to the Lord, the area, the work and all the things and i prayed that i would be able to feel like i was doing enough and i prayed for a miracle. 

On Friday and Saturday, we met FIVE amazing people! Who are so excited to hear and learn more about the Book of Mormon. One being a 67 year old man named Trevor. Who has been prepared for the restored Gospel! He's been on a journey for the last 2 years... studying the Bible, changing his life habits, and wanted to know God. When we met him on the streets we spoke for a good 45 minutes about the Plan of Salvation and the Book of Mormon and ugh it was just such a huge miracle! 

God really does prepare the way and i was reminded today that everything works out in his timing 💗

Sunday we had 2 friends at church which was another miracle!! 

I recognized this week that you find the good when you are looking for the good! & God is so good, all the time ♡

Today we had district pday! We went bowling. Kind of made me miss home going on bowling double dates with my parents lol! It was a blast though and i freaking love these people so so much! I am so blessed 🥰

t's always the weeks where God is working so hard through me that satan attacks and my mental health is as gloomy as england lol. 1/10/2022 Jaw Dropping Miracles

I tried to make this shorter... I really tried. Hello to all my favorite people, I miss you! This week has literally been one of the best on the mission so far! I have no idea why God allows me to witness and be apart of this great work but wow! I am so thankful that I am able to be a missionary right now! This week every day something crazy happened that most people who aren't in the Gospel or who don't have a faith in God would have seen as coincidental but I can not deny the role God plays in each one of our lives! God is literally in control and He reminded me of that this week! Everything is in His hands! My mom wanted me to share one of the miracles that we saw this week :) like I said I tried to make this short but I really can't lol. So a typical "finding" day we would go to Uxbridge and be there for about an hour to an hour and a half max but the zone decided this week we would find for 3 hours straight 😅 Uxbridge high street is kind of like station park...

3/15/2023 Missionary Release

Dear Parents ,   The time is approaching when your daughter Sister Madison Fox will be completing her full-time missionary service in the England London Mission.  She will be released on 6 Apr 2023.  Upon her return, she will need to contact her stake president, who will interview her and officially release her.    It has been a privilege to serve in the mission field with  Sister Fox .   She  has been an obedient and enthusiastic missionary.  She  is a wonderful young  woman  and a great servant of the Lord and will be fondly remembered by all with whom she  had the opportunity to associate.  She  comes home to you worthy of an honourable release and with the love and gratitude of those who served with  her .   We wish Sister Fox happiness and success in all her endeavours. ...
