A proper update 8/29/2022
Okay hi! Time is going by so fast! This transfer is already over! Crazy to think ive been working in Canterbury for 6 weeks already. But wow, we've been working! And its going amazing! This last week was the best week with sister Borden! We worked so hard and brought such a strong spirit into our home ♡
I guess i need to update on people before anything else lol. So Beau & Delcie, they are the cutest 14 year old twins who are friends with some of the young women. They have been coming to activities all summer and their mom liz just gave us permission to start teaching them so we are so excited for that!!
We are also teaching Seit & Sylvia and their 3 kids Alex 16, Valentina 14, and Isabella 4. Seit is from Albania and Sylvia is from the Czech Republic. They are both still learning english so its been so hard to teach them but teaching them has reminded me that the Spirit really is the teacher. That this truly is the Lords work and He will prevail! We meet with their family every week and yesterday Seit asked us to turn to Moroni 10:4-7 and then he expressed to us that he loves the Book of Mormon and the bible. They are all looking forward to their baptism!
Yesterday Alex had his friend, Sam over so we got to teach him as well and he wants to learn more about the Book of Mormon and plan of salvation! Its just been so amazing, i love it here and i love being a missionary!
We also met with a lady from nigeria named Theresa and she lived learning about the Book of Mormon and the restoration! When we shared the first vision with her she was very touched by the fact that God called Joseph Smitg by name, she asked us if God knows each of us by name and we were able to testify of Gods endless love! The spirit was so strong!
I really am so happy!
I've been studying a lot about Mercy this week and seeking and trusting God's will and his timing! It is only through the Atonement of Jesus Christ and exercised repentance that we will be shown mercy and im so overwhelmed to know that Christ really felt that I was worth, that we are worth his infinite atonement!
As for seeking and trusting God's will, i trust Him whole heartedly or as the scriptures say with full purpose of heart but im having a hard time seeking his will. What does the Lord want for me, and the people i teach, and my future? I dont know. And thats okay, sometimes we get so worried about not knowing that we turn away but i will forever trust in God. I know he wants nothing but the best for each of us and that alone gives me peace!
This week was really great! Full of the spirit(: Tomorrow i will be getting my new comp! Her name is sister Pereira and she is from Utah! Im so excited! She trained my mtc comp sister costa and was comps with my homegirl sister nichols so i already know we are going to have so much fun this transfer!
I'm just gonna leave yall with this quote and hope & pray that you're living, laughing, and loving!
Love you always ♡

"God is not asking you to figure it all out, He is asking you to trust that he already has"
Love,
Sister Fox 🌻
