Mission GC #3 10/3/2022

Did anyone else notice that President Nelson was wearing a purple suit? it must be his favourite colour too (;
I have really come to love General Conference on my mission! Kind of terrifying to think this was meant to be my last GC before returning home but good think i'm extending am i right? haha
But on a serious note i came with a lot of questions! like A LOT. About school, about a career, about marriage and kids. And everything was answered. In God's way and in God's timing but it all was answered and I have so much peace! ♡
What an amazing weekend we all just had!
Isn't it crazy that this time last year i was in the MTC not knowing at all how much my mission would change my life?! I have been thinking about that a lot and it's so insane! there was a talk by Brother Olsen and he said those 18 or 24 months will pass regardless of if you serve but the things you will experience will be priceless and life changing. I can testify of that! I never wanted to go on a mission, i thought "thats 18 months ill never get back" ... now that im here, a year later i am reminded of the promise Elder Holland gave almost a year ago. Everyone I have ever and will ever love will be blessed because of my service. I am forever changed and continuing because of my mission & because of the guidance of our Prophet. i hope you were listening to God's servants AND His spirit! I learned so much! I received so much! I loved every second of General Conference and cannot deny that this is His restored church! Everything He is, and everything He stands for is contained in and only in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints!
It's been such a good week, Seit is doing amazing! He is teaching His family trying to help them prepare for baptism and it has been such a blessing to see the Gospel change him completely. The change has made him complete! Jesus Christ fills every whole, leads us out of every dark tunnel, and heals every broken heart!

We've been finding a lot of people and that I am so excited to start teaching them! We also had a really good MLC this week! I am looking forward to this week but i am also super nervous because its the last week of the transfer & there is a small chance i will leave Canterbury and I really don't want that! But I am always willing to trust God ♡
I could sit and write a whole novel about the things I took from General Conference! Isn't it amazing that a general message to the entire world can literally become so personal to the individual?! It amazes me every time i ask, seek, and knock, I receive Him. As we learned yesterday, in every situation (simple or complex) Jesus IS the solution! every single time!
I know that the work I am doing out here is God's work! I know that He lives and that is something I never want to forget!
My mind was opened to a new perspective this weekend! I always knew that scripture study, prayer, church attendance, service, etc was how i would get close to the Lord. However, someone (can't remember who atm) said he studies the scriptures so he can spend time with Jesus Christ! That thought spoke to my soul, I want to spend time with my Saviour and He wants that too, thats why He has blessed us with so many tools!
I know that truth will always remain the same. Truth is; God lives, Jesus Christ is His son and my Saviour, His Gospel is restored today, They love us and will never stop reaching out to us!
"Getting and staying on the covenant path really does make life easier!"
"daily repentance brings you additional strength"
"the Holy Temple is His house & filled with His power!"
"Look for Jesus Christ everyday and you will find him, every day."

I love my Saviour and His chosen servants. I learned so much this conference! I am forever changing because of Him. Because of Him, i too, we too can and will overcome the world. I love you all so much. i miss you! i am praying for you & hope that you received the spiritual witness of the restored truths spoken of this weekend! God and Jesus Christ love YOU perfectly. The Book of Mormon IS the word of God.
It is only by Jesus Christ name that we may enter into everlasting rest. Follow Him, Learn of Him, Become like Him, and Trust Him ♡

I am so pleased to represent Him, to stand by His side, and to always bear witness of Him.

One of my most favourite lessons from conference was "you do not have to wear the badge to bear His name" so powerful! The work is His but it is all of ours to do! Share the love you have felt from Him with others. Many are called but few are chosen and YOU are chosen. You are His saints in the last days. HE NEEDS YOU! ♡

Have the happiest week! see you soon Utah(;

Love always,
Sister Fox 🌻

ps. yes we did make strawberry chocolates for our GC snacks since none of us know how to make cinnamon rolls lol !
