Short and Sweet 10/10/2022
oh what a busy week its been!
i hate giving day to day updates it'll be speedy. this week was very eventful, every single day.
Monday i got to attend my little cousin Liam baptism and I also went on exchanges with sister Eden in the deal area until tuesday night.
Wednesday was a normal day, we went to our weekly DA with Pauline and we are trying to teach her husband Tim but he is very atheist. After dinner we went to our chapel for sports night and well, Bishop White loves pranks. He is like a british Skee Fox tbh. A couple weeks ago he and his family came and cling wrap our entire car as their FHE activity haha ! then on Wednesday while i was playing basketball he took our car keys and literally hid our car 😅 so that was a good surprise...
our showers don't work at the moment so we go to elder and sister Nelson's flat to shower every night and we went over there after we found our car but we did lock ourselves out of our flat and it was like 10:30 so we had to sleep over at the Nelson's haha. but it felt like old times haha
Thursday we spent the day in Orpington and Friday we spent it in Tunbridge. We got to go to the Temple on Saturday which was so amazing as usual! Its so beautiful there & the spirit is always so strong! Don't worry we did end the night by pranking bishop and his family back! His 13 year old daughter and i are besties and she helped us out haha. We filled his car up with 50 party balloons and put shaving cream all over the windows hahah. (the neighbours did think we were spray painting the car lol)
Sunday was good, it was transfer news sunday yesterday and great news I am staying in Canterbury ♡
Mosiah 14:4-5(:
"Surely he has borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows; yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed."
ive been thinking a lot about repentance & redemption. you cannot have one without the other. Just like mercy and justice. When we take action to repent that is when Jesus Christ can and will be our redeemer. God is so merciful but someone had to pay the demands of justice and we decide whether we will pay or if we will allow Jesus Christ to pay for the sins He has already died for.
A few transfers back i was praying for something and struggling and i heard a voice come to my head saying, "let me be who i died to be, let me be your Saviour"
I think about that a lot. Jesus Christ is literally the only solution to any mistake, any sickness, any hurt, He is the solution. And as we repent, He Redeems. The Atonement of Jesus Christ is beautiful & precious and oh so freeing.
i love you all. today is the day to start over. to be free from Satan's grip. have a happy happy week!
Love,
Sister Fox 🌻
