what a week! i love what i do and I'm forever grateful that God allows me to be part of His work! this week has been one of the most memorable, we've seen so many miracles in the work and i have been reminded of a lot of precious truths in my personal study.
i totally forgot to talk about David Ashton last week but wow i love that man so much! So Sister HΓΈjvang and i go to visit this member called Rose at her little care home once a week. And when we went to visit this sweet old man was sitting at a table all by himself and so i went and said hi and he started crying to me. He told me that he had a stroke about 4 months again and since then he can't focus very well so they moved him there. it was so sad, i gave him the biggest hug and then he looked at my tag and smiled and pulled out a really old bible that had his grandfather and fathers signatures and notes in them. Then he told me about his family and about his "sweet jenny". Then he had me call Jenny because i needed to know how great she was! And let me tell you she was the sweetest soul! I really connected with this little old man and I'm gonna miss him so so much!
It made me so emotional because soon i won't have my tag anymore & because of my Uncle Dick recently having a stroke.

please continue to pray for him, i know that my family really needs and appreciated all the love and prayers!
bless David Ashton, he made me excited to go back to working in a retirement home for a bit! (:
we had interviews on Tuesday! Sister HΓΈjvang and i gave such a good training and our missionaries took what we taught and turned it into miracles! it is so weird to think that Tuesday was my last interview with President and Sister Thompson... 13 interviews later and we are forever friends. Sister Thompson and i just had fun thinking back on all our memories. She told me she sees a lot of herself in me and that made me feel good! Then my interview with President... that was really special. He told me how proud he was of me and how he knows that God is so proud of me & assured me that there has been so much growth in the last 18 months ♡
To hear that from him meant the world to me because i look up to him and sister thompson so much! Then we made plans to see each other in 16 months when they get home! (:
am i besties with the Thompsons... maybe! am i their favorite absolutely! but i mean i'm also mom and dads favorite so it's not surprising (;
okay so to explain the title of this email... the miracles we have witnessed this week are so unreal! God is so so good and i'm gonna miss being a full timw missionary so much! but being a member involved in missionary work seems pretty second best to me haha. anyways so MIRACLES, wow!
let's start with pauline + nicole. Pauline met sister missionaries a few months back but was too busy to meet. Then Elder Thacker and Chandler met her on the bus and she told them she already had missionary friends and called us. We've been teaching her and then last Thursday i felt like we needed to call her before we went street finding. When i called she was really sad and had just found out that her sister passed away. It was so surreal because we got to go teach her the Plan of Salvation and comfort her. Just like i was able to do with Sister Pereira and Sister Walker in Canterbury with Seit and his family. This experience made me so overwhelmed to know that God is so aware of each of us and He desperately wants His children to know that families really can be together forever

Not gonna lie it was so funny to teach Pauline and her 2 granddaughter Nicole (13yo) and Diamond (5yo) all together. Bless Diamond, she was being wild and Pauline is definitely your traditional african women & she just goes "hey, you know me i will beat you." then she started to behave but only for a bit and Pauline goes "i will pull your hair". too funny!
We we able to invite Folu to be baptized and she will be entering the covenant path at the end of April!

So Michelle is the cute little 10 year old that wants to be baptized but her mother wouldn't allow her to be... Sister HΓΈjvang and i had never met her mom, lydia, so we felt that we should at least introduce ourselves and understand where she is at with us teaching Michelle. And let me tell you going to speak to Lydia was the scariest thing in my mind! I pictured this traditional african mom who loves her bible and was ready to flame us. but she actually was the opposite! well besides traditional african mom. She was so sweet and told us that she loves that we meet with michelle and that the only reason she doesn't come to our church is because she speaks twi and can't understand english services but God is good! & We have many members from Ghana who speak twi! She said Michelle can get baptized! & She even asked us to start teaching her 13 year old daughter as well!
And the cherry on top! Alexia & Augusto were baptized on saturday and confirmed yesterday! The service was mostly in portuguese & i couldn't understand a lot of it but the spirit was so strong! i was sobbing the whole time haha! yes my mission has made me the biggest cry baby just like my mamma (:
today was the best pday ever! i went and got my hair done !! i finally feel like myself again... after 18 months haha. i will say it was so weird not having mom doing it. made me miss her a lot. it was weird not helping or binge watching our favorite movies haha.
after that we went to the chapel to hang out with the district because the elders are obsessed with us and can't go a day without our humor and fun company lol (;
this week will probably go by fast! I'm looking forward to tomorrow because we have exchanges & wednesday is our departing temple trip! so its just the 8 missionaries going home going to the temple with President & Sister Thompson!
i hope you all have the best week ever! see you in 17 days, but who's counting!

also heres pics from a lot of different events from the last few weeks. kinda been lame with the pics lately. my bad

Spiritual Thought!
Every Christian is following Jesus Christ... it's in the name. But we as members of the restored church of Jesus Christ are the only Christians in the world, who are following him by being led directly by Christ himself. what a privilege. I'll never stop saying how good God is because he is SO good. I love him. & love all of you! byeeee !
xx
