Well where do I start?! First of all. God is so good! I don't know how but on Tuesday Sister Redford tested negative (keep in mind she only tested postive the thursday before) and we were able to go to the transfer devotional! After a long day of transfers I met my trainee! Her name is Sister Deveraux, she's from Idaho and she's really sweet. Idk what the heck i'm doing ever but especially as a trainer lol but i'm excited to get to know her a bit more and help her adjust to the mission life as much as i can :) On Thursday, President and Sister Thompson told us some news that can literally change the whole course of my mission... we are thinking the news will be announced during General Conference so stay awake ;)  Peckham area needs lots of missionary work and because of that we have 3 companionships in the area. 6 missionaries in 1 ward, what a blessing!  Elder Reid is one of the missionaries in Peckham but he was previously in Hyde Park and idk the whole situation...

Whats up gang?  Speaking of gang lol... Peckham do be kinda ghetto but still love it so much. Haha!  This week has been all over the place but also really uneventful. On Mondon Lindon told us he would be moving to Birmingham on Friday, that literally ripped my heart into pieces. I'm sad to see him go but he truly is so prepared and I'm so grateful that I was able to meet him and introduce him to the Book of Mormon! As missionaries there are 5 lessons we teach and in the 10 days that I was blessed to know Lindon, i was able to teach him 3 of those 5 lessons. A true miracle!  The missionaries in Birmingham are definitely so lucky to get to work with him now. Hopefully I'll be able to join Lindon's baptism via zoom 🤞 Thursday Sister Redford tested positive for Covid so this week has been lots of social media work and phone calls. Yay. Luckily I don't have covid so i've just been chilling upstairs with the other sisters while Sister Redford and her covid stay downs...

Wow. 6 months. That's kind of terrifying. The hardest yet best 6 months... definetely the fastest 6 months. I'm so scared of how fast the next year will go honestly. Okay so this week... lol pretty rough i'm gonna be completely honest. This companionship has been extremely difficult for me. I have felt so alone and it has felt like we are on two completely different teams.  I was put in a really difficult situation this week. Where God really tested my faith & trust in Him and my obedience to my call to represent Jesus Christ. I had to make the decision between "keeping the peace" in my companionship and allowing something i know is wrong to continue or doing what I know to be right and addressing the issue by seeking help from President and Sister Thompson. And because of my decision to report some things to President and Sister Thompson the companionship has gotten even worse. Missions are tough as it is and having a companion who tries to tear you down does...

Okay first of all i want to throw up at the fact that tomorrow is my birthday. I just turned 16 like yesterday... how am i turning 21 tomorrow?! 😭 literally turning 21 and hitting 6 MONTHS all in the same week... GAG. Birthday on the mission should be fun though. We did district pday today (my district surprised me) we went out to some south american place they found for lunch *chefs kiss* and they got us tickets to the museum in central. ❤ Miracles! A woman named Samatha met Elder Haymore on the streets and said she met sisters before but that it was years ago. But because she met him she reached out to us and she is SO prepared! The first time she called us she said "if God is the same yesterday, today, and forever why isn't there Prophets and Apostles today?" We were so excited to share the Restoration with her and it was the most spiritual lesson I have every been apart of! She has already been reading the Book of Mormon on her own and believes it's true! I'm...

First week in the new area felt like 5. Slow week, trying to get to know the area and know the missionaries in the zone but nonetheless it has been a good week. I am still really heart broken about being ripped away from Hayes midtransfer and honestly was being really bitter about it the first couple days but trials are for us to become better not bitter.  My flat is SO boujee and i sleep on a queen size mattress so bless up. A big thank you to Jesus for that one. 🙏 I literally had never heard of any of the missionaries serving in this zone before so I am still getting to know them but they seem kind. (:  My ward is freaking awesome. I went to institute on Wednesday and this little black spit fire named Joyce comes up to me and was like "i've never met a black sister before, i like you." And then yesterday at church a Sister named Elizabeth came uo to me and asked if I had served in any other area. And when I told her I was in Hayed before she just looked at me and then ...
